This is just a small sampling of what's on display right now at

Christmas items interspected among the entire store.

Only two days left until Thanksgiving!!!

Gift shop goodies

The retail store's excuse is that they need to make their profits.
Why does a simple gift shop inside a hospital need to decorate so
early??

At least they had one tiny shelf of Thanksgiving things.

The Grinch

When December starts, there is no shortage of animated and hallmark holiday films to fill up your DVR.

With that said, there is no reason that TBS should be showing "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" this year on November 5th!

Maybe they need to go back and watch the movie again, to learn that Christmas isn't about bloated consumerism.

Nordstrom's Safe Haven

If you want to go shopping this season, but you don't want to be bombarded by the Christmas Creep, take your credit card over to Nordstroms for your pre-Thanksgiving shopping.
Nordstrom's department stores won't be rolling out the holiday decorations and fanfare until the day after Thanksgiving. It's a low-key policy they've carried out for as long as company spokesman, Colin Johnson, can remember. "It’s our longstanding tradition that we wait until the day after Thanksgiving to unveil the holiday trim at all of our stores," Johnson told Yahoo! Shine. "We think it’s important to celebrate each holiday on its own so we’re doing it again this year. "

2011 Respect

Well another year of Christmas Creep is upon us.

This year some stores have put out their Christmas decorations as early as October 1st, citing that they need to boost their sales for the 4th quarter.

Let me repeat that thought: They're putting out their decorations early, TO BOOST SALES.

They're not doing it because they love the Christmas holiday, they're doing it because they want to use the Christmas holiday as a way to push people to go out and buy buy buy more more more.

I've said this every year, but I'll say it again: I LOVE Christmas. I love every part of it, and every year my house is one of the most decorated ones in the neighborhood, inside and out.

But I think by overtaking Thanksgiving and now even Halloween you're cheapening the holiday, and turning it into a greedy money grubbing time of year that has less to do with snowmen and reindeer and more to do with maxing out your credit cards.

Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe this year will be different. Maybe people will respect the turkey a little more (and apparently now even the pumpkin is in danger) but I'm not hopeful based on what I've already found in stores and posted here!

Stay tuned for more pics of stores pushing merch on everyone long before it's appropriate, and remember: ncbt! No Christmas Before Thanksgiving!
